SOL L. RABIN

Chairman of Board

  • Founding Partner and Board Chairman of Terabon Real Estate. Dr. Rabin has worked extensively with Chris Yi, Founding Partner of Terabon Real Estate, on various real estate projects in Southern California over the past 15 years. Through their combined efforts they were able to conceive of and structure Terrebonne Real Estate-a unique real estate company that has a comparative advantage in the real estate market on the West Coast Region of the United States.

  • Founding Partner, Crystal Asset Management, Inc. in Los Angeles, California. He is responsible for directing the investment and management of apartment portfolios in Southern California. The firm focuses on investing in low rise apartments.  His current company, with a staff of 78 persons, has purchased and managed apartment complexes as small as 79 units and as large as 628 units. In the last six years, CAM has purchased, managed, and sold over 5,500 apartment units. In addition to buying and managing apartments as a General Partner, Crystal has also joint ventured with numerous institutional investors such as BlackRock Investment Management.  

  • Founding Partner, TCW Realty Advisors in Los Angeles, California, was responsible for raising and investing a $4.2 billion (unleveraged) portfolio of real estate throughout the U.S. Dr. Rabin was a member of the Executive Committee, Investment Committee, and Chairman of the Investment Research Committee. TCW Realty Advisors began with four people and grew to 165 people over 15 years.

  • Dr. Rabin was also responsible for the Company’s investment research department which ranked first for nine consecutive years among institutional investors.

  • Prior to the formation of TCW Realty Advisors, Dr. Rabin held the position of Executive Vice President of CB Commercial Research and Consulting Division in Los Angeles. He originated and managed a division of 35 professionals operating nationwide.

  • Has been on the faculty of U.S.C. and UCLA Graduate Schools of Management.  He is a graduate of Reed College (BA), Harvard University (MCP), and the University of Pennsylvania (Ph.D.).

  • Currently, he is Chair of the Collections Committee of Ancient Art of the Harvard University Art Museums (Cambridge, Massachusetts) and President of The Odyssey Theatre Ensemble Board of Trustees (Los Angeles, California). Formerly Chairman of the J. Paul Getty Museum Villa Council of Ancient Art, Formerly Co-Pack Leader of Cub Scouts Pack 100 (Beverly Hills), President of Temple Emanuel (Los Angeles), President of the Board of Regents of Temple Emanuel Community Day School, President of the California Museum of Ancient Art, President of the Regional Science Association, President of National Association of Business Economists (Los Angeles) and Trustee of Reed College (Portland, Oregon). 

  • Resides in Beverly Hills, California with his family.

 

RICHARD KIM

Managing Partner

  • Founding Partner & President, Citywide Management & Consulting, Inc. in Los Angeles, California. He is responsible for directing the portfolio of commercial and residential properties totaling 1,200 units of apartments and over 1 million square feet of commercial properties totaling in value of $ 1.5 Billion in Southern California. The firm is one of the oldest and the most respected property management company well known in the Korean communities. Citywide has represented $ 350 million worth of commercial property transactions for its clients over 15 year period. Citywide Managements includes the largest commercial property owner in Los Angeles County, Real Estate Reit, and large residential owners.

  • Prior to the formation of Citywide Management & Consulting, Inc, Richard Kim has previously worked with one of the largest apartment developer/management company in Southern California as a project manager responsible for overseeing the various renovation projects totaling 1,000 units of luxury apartments.

  • He currently holds a California Real Estate Broker's license and he is a graduate of the University of Southern California ( B.A. in Business and Master's in Real Estate Development).

  • Currently, he is a vice president of the University of Southern California Korean Alumni Association and previously served on the board of the University of Southern California's Asian Alumni Association.

 

CHRIS YI

Managing Director
Executive V.P. - Development and Construction

  • Founding partner of Terabon Real Estate, responsible for investing, managing, constructing, and selling assets in California.

  • Founding partner of Crystal Asset Management Inc., responsible for investing, managing, and selling assets in California.

  • Mr. Yi was also responsible for the Company’s investment research department which ranked first for nine consecutive years among institutional investors.

  • He has more than 24 years of capital improvement project management and new construction development experience in the construction industry. Exceptionally knowledgeable with planning, designing and constructing commercial, multi-housing, and public facilities.

  • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with budgets ranging from $5 million to over $30 million; proven ability to complete projects on time and within budget.

  • Initiated investments in IPO’s and participation in reverse merges on international (China) funding, including a $70 million(USD) market cap.

  • As a seasoned investor, Mr. Yi invests and manages commercial and multi-housing, and industrial properties in Southern California.

  • Currently a Member of the Rotary Club, Lincoln Club, KACCLA, and Pomona Chamber of Commerce.

  • Mr. Yi is also an entrepreneur and running Different Business management and developer.
